TrueScan MRI LLC and its affiliates (“TrueScan”, “us,” “we,” or “our”) is dedicated to protecting the privacy of information reasonably related to an individual (“Personal Data”). This Privacy Notice details how we manage Personal Data collected through our websites, social media accounts, mobile applications, emails, and other properties (collectively, our “Digital Properties”) and through other digital and offline interactions. 

TrueScan complies with applicable state and federal privacy laws and information contained herein regarding our use, collection, and disclosure of Personal Data that may be subject to or limited by the requirements of these applicable laws. In receiving health care items or services from TrueScan, you may also provide TrueScan with certain health or medical information that may become protected under applicable laws, including the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996, Public Law 104-191, and its related regulations and amendments from time to time (collectively, “HIPAA”). As a result, TrueScan may be subject to certain provisions of HIPAA with respect to “protected health information,” as defined under HIPAA, that you provide to TrueScan (“PHI”). In addition, any medical or health information that you provide that is subject to specific protections under applicable state laws (collectively, with PHI, “Protected Information”), will be used and disclosed only in accordance with such applicable laws. However, any information that does not constitute Protected Information under applicable laws may be used or disclosed in any manner permitted under this Privacy Policy. Protected Information does not include information that has been de-identified or anonymized in accordance with applicable laws. TrueScan has adopted a Notice of Privacy Practices that describes how we use and disclose Protected Information. By electing to receive health care services from TrueScan, you are acknowledging receipt of the Notice of Privacy Practices and that you have agreed to such Privacy Practices.

This Privacy Notice may be updated by us from time to time. Updates to the Privacy Notice are effective immediately when posted. Please review this Privacy Notice regularly for updates. If required by any applicable law, TrueScan will directly contact you to provide you with an updated Privacy Policy. 

1. Personal Data Sources

Personal Data is any information that identifies, relates to, describes, can be reasonably associated with, or could be directly or indirectly reasonably linked to a specific individual or household.Personal Data does not include publicly available information, de-identified or aggregated information, or information covered by applicable federal and state laws.

We collect Personal Data about you from:

A. Direct Collection: We may gather information you provide directly when you interact with us, including but not limited to when you use our Digital Properties, visit our location, subscribe to newsletters, communicate with us, place orders, or create an account.

B. Automatic Collection: We may collect data automatically when you interact with our Digital Properties. This automatic data collection may involve the use of cookies and other tracking technologies. We may gather information about how you interact with our Digital Properties or with us, details about your device, and your internet usage patterns. 

C. Third-Party Sources: We may obtain Personal Data from various external sources. These may include medical professionals affiliated with our companies, service providers, business partners, data brokers, lead generators, customer list suppliers, social media platforms, and other entities we interact with.

B. Personal Records: such as information about your preferences (including marketing and purchasing choices), account settings, and details of your communications with us. This covers the content, timing, and method of interactions like online chats, calls, emails, your signature and description of your physical characteristics. 

C. Identifiers: such as your name, email address, physical address, phone number, business contact details, account number, and device identifiers such as cookie IDs and IP addresses.

D. Professional Information: such as details about your job, company, group, credentials, affiliations, and other work-related information.

F. Education Information: such as data about your educational background.

G. Inferences: from collected information to assess your interest in our products and services. This involves evaluating the frequency of your visits, and determining your preferred frequency for receiving offers.

H. Commercial Information: such as your purchase or subscription history, products you've ordered or shown interest in, payment and delivery details, and other financial information. It also includes legal information related to your transactions, such as fraud checks, payment card refusals, complaints and their resolutions, and any legal requests or communications.

I. Approximate Location Data: such as your general location based on your IP address.

  4. Ethnic or racial origin

Note that we're not responsible for these independent third parties' privacy and data practices. You should regularly check the privacy notices of those third-party companies.

Legal, Safety, and Security Purposes: to comply with legal requirements and government requests, pursue legal rights and remedies, investigate claims, protect safety and property rights, address security and health issues (including managing communicable diseases), combat fraudulent or illegal activities, and obtain legal advice.

Product and Service Delivery: to provide and deliver goods and services, offer customer support, process orders and payments, communicate about products or subscriptions, host informational webinars, verify eligibility for programs or benefits, respond to inquiries and complaints, and provide similar services or facilitate your relationship with us.

C. Research and Product Improvement: to verify and maintain product and service quality and safety, develop new and current products and services, assess marketing effectiveness, and fix technical issues with our systems and equipment.

D. Internal Business Operations: to maintain accounts, operate and customize our Digital Properties, keep internal records, enforce policies, conduct organizational analysis, complete management reporting, manage assets and workforce, plan work schedules and billing, manage projects, perform audits, maintain business activity records, handle budgeting and real estate management, administer IT systems and security, and carry out other similar activities.

E. Marketing and Advertising: to promote our products, services, or those of our affiliates and partners. This includes personalizing ads, analyzing interactions with our communications, developing targeted audiences, and sending promotional materials. A. Types of Tracking Technologies We Use

C. Types of Information Collected

These tracking technologies collect information about you and your device, such as your cookie ID, Ad ID, approximate and precise location, device ID, operating system, browser, IP address, search history, and data about how you interact with our Digital Properties. 

D. Disclosures of Information

We may share information collected through these technologies with third parties or allow third parties to directly gather data on our Digital Properties. These third parties may include, social media companies, advertising networks, security providers, analytics providers, and other parties that support our business and Digital Properties operations

E. Do Not Track Signals

Although some browsers have incorporated Do Not Track (“DNT”) preferences, we do not honor DNT preferences at this time.

6. Data Security and Data Maintenance

We take reasonable measures to protect your Personal Data from accidental or unlawful destruction, loss, disclosure, or misuse. However, complete security for data transmitted over the Internet cannot be guaranteed. We advise you to take reasonable precautions when sending or receiving Personal Data to or from us. 

We retain your Personal Data for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this notice, or as required by applicable law. This includes retaining your Personal Data to offer products or services, maintain our business relationship, improve our operations, ensure legal compliance and security, or to otherwise fulfill our contractual obligations. Even after you end your relationship with us, we may retain your Personal Data in our records for legitimate business purposes or for other purposes as determined in our sole discretion.

7. International Transmission of Personal Data

If you're outside the United States and share Personal Data with us, be aware that this information will be transferred to and processed in the United States. If you're uncomfortable with this transfer and processing, please refrain from submitting your Personal Data to us.

Our Digital Properties may include links to external websites or online services beyond our control, including those in third-party ads or sponsor content. We're not responsible for the privacy practices or data collection policies of these external services. For information on their practices, please refer to their individual privacy notices.

9. Children’s Policy

Our Digital Properties are designed for adults 18 years and older. We do not intentionally target, market to, or collect information from individuals under 18 years of age. If you believe we've accidentally gathered Personal Data from someone under 18, please inform us using the contact details provided in the Contact Information section. We'll take prompt efforts to remove such information upon notification.

You can request corrections or changes to your Personal Data by emailing us using the contact information provided in the "Contact Information" section below.

To opt out of certain email communications, you can use the unsubscribe link in our emails or send us written notice to remove your information from our promotional email list. Keep in mind that opting out of promotional emails doesn't mean we'll stop sending you emails regarding your account or transactions.
