About this Condition

Lymphadenopathy is the presence of enlarged lymph nodes.

These enlarged lymph nodes may be reactive to a local autoimmune or inflammatory process (e.

g.

sarcoidosis) or may be due to the spread of a malignancy.

It is possible that the underlying cause may not be determined by the TrueScan scan and the lymph nodes return to their normal size in time.
