About this Condition
An enlarged heart is a result of an underlying medical condition.
Certain conditions can cause the heart muscle to abnormally stretch or thicken resulting in the size of one or more of the heart chambers to grow.
The TrueScan scan is not designed to evaluate the detail of the heart.
