About this Condition

Lymphoma can be found throughout the gastrointestinal tract, with the small bowel being the most common site.

The bowel is usually a secondary site for lymphoma to spread to, not a primary (starting) location.

However if the bowel is the primary site for lymphoma, it is usually associated with other conditions such as in patients with HIV/AIDS, celiac disease or patients who have had an organ transplant.
